The American Association of Professional Landmen invites you to its Pooling Seminar in Pittsburgh, PA on Friday, July 31, 2015. The program will be held at The Pittsburgh Airport Marriott Hotel: 777 Aten Road Coraopolis, PA 15108.
The AAPL Pooling seminar is a one-day program designed for intermediate to experienced landmen desiring an in-depth overview of pooling. It is well suited for both the field landmen and the in-house landmen who want to learn more about pooling and related land practices. It can serve as a primer for those starting out in landwork, but the focus is on a more experienced audience. The material presented will build on the foundation acquired on-the-job and will solidify skills recently acquired.
Recertification credits are 5 CEU's towards RL/RPL/CPL certifications.

George A. Snell III
Before joining Steptoe & Johnson, Snell maintained a private practice in Amarillo, Texas since 1972. His career began as a general practitioner and litigator until he merged his practice with a long-time oil and gas title attorney in 1979. Snell turned his focus to title opinions and since then has prepared thousands of opinions for energy companies throughout the nation. Snell is a nationally recognized author and speaker. His industry knowledge is sought by organizations such as the American Association of Professional Landmen and the National Association of Division Order Analysts. Many of his published works have appeared in the Gas and Mineral Law Sections of various bar associations including the State Bar of Texas, the Dallas Bar Association and the Houston Bar Association. Snell has also been a featured author and speaker for the Rocky Mountain Mineral Law Foundation in Denver, Colorado, as well as the University of Texas Oil, Gas and Mineral Law Institute.
Ryan Bundy
Ryan Bundy focuses his practice in the area of energy law. He has conducted oil and gas title examinations and drafted the corresponding mineral title opinions to assist clients in acquiring property rights. He has performed due diligence by assisting senior attorneys in evaluation and determining marketability of client's assets for energy transactions. Ryan currently works for Steptoe & Johnson.
Andy Graham
Andy Graham has practiced energy and mineral law with Steptoe & Johnson PLLC over the last 11 years in Texas and West Virginia, focusing on mineral title examinations, conducting due diligence in the buying and selling of mineral assets, as well as issues related to surface use and compensation arising from mineral development. He has been recognized as one of The Best Lawyers in America® and serves as the West Virginia mineral law case reporter for the Rocky Mountain Mineral Law Foundation. He is a frequent speaker at seminars and continuing education events for lawyers, landmen, lease and title analysts, and division order analysts. He is a member of the American Association of Professional Landmen. Starting this fall, he will be an adjunct professor of energy land management at West Virginia University in Morgantown, West Virginia.
Nate Holland
Nate Holland assists clients with business transactions and litigation involving the oil and gas industry. In particular, Mr. Holland helps clients develop solutions for novel challenges or new applications of oil and gas law. Advised exploration and production companies on various oil and gas law issues, including ownership of oil and gas, leasing, unitization, joint operations, DEP and PUC regulation, and local land use regulation. Wrote amicus brief on behalf of an energy professionals organization in support of the prevailing side of oil and gas title litigation before the Pennsylvania Supreme Court. Represented client in litigation involving oil and gas leases and ownership. Performed senior oil and gas title review for transactions and drilling operations.
