Rocks Are Minerals Too - Working Relationships with the Landman
Mineral Rights are not only oil and gas; they include surface, underground rocks, and hard minerals too. Chip will share information about permitting new mining operations including sand and gravel, industrial sand, limestone, and sandstone quarries. Chip is an approved mineral valuation professional with the Michigan Department of Natural Resources and will give examples of hard mineral valuation reports for both property owners as well as quarry operators. Understanding hard mineral operations in Michigan will better serve Landmen while working in the field as in many cases it is necessary to work together.
